[Important] Partial Changes to Tour Activities due to the Suspension of Zone 9 (Factory Tour Area)

Temporary Closure Notice

Thank you very much for your interest in visiting the Mazda Museum.
Unfortunately, due to circumstances on our end, we must inform you that the museum will be temporarily closed during the following period:

Period: Friday , June 21, 2024 to Friday, June 28, 2024

We plan to reevaluate the period in mid-May 2024 and intend to shorten the temporary closure.

Notice of Air Conditioning Construction.

Thank you for your continued patronage of the Mazda Museum.
In order to make your visit to the museum more comfortable, the air conditioning system of the museum will be undergoing repair work.
As a result, during the following period, the air-conditioning system on the first floor of the Museum will be shut down and noise may be generated due to the construction work.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask for your understanding.

Estimated date of construction start: Sunday, February 4, 2024　
Estimated date of completion of construction: Sunday, March 31, 2024

Important information – Possible closure due to typhoon between August 7 and 10, 2023

Typhoon No. 6 is currently approaching. As a result, according to the weather forecast, strong winds are expected to blow in the Mazda Head Office area sometime between August 7 and 10, 2023.
We place the highest priority on the safety of our visitors, and depending on the path of the typhoon, there is a possibility that the Mazda Museum may be temporarily closed.

The decision to close the museum will be made based on weather forecasts and information from the government, with the safety of our guests as our top priority.

According to the recent weather forecast, it may be possible to have a heavy rain in the area where Mazda Museum located in the early morning of July 9th (Sunday).

Consequently, we may temporarily close Mazda Museum on Monday, July 10th, depending on the weather condition, putting first priority to avoid every unsafety situation customer may face on the way to our Museum. We apologize, in advance, for any inconvenience possibly given to those who had planned to visit.

Whether or not we temporarily close our Museum on Monday, July 10ty will be announced around 12:00PM in our official website on Sunday, July 9th, considering then weather forecasts.

Important information - Cancellation of Opening Hours for July 1, Saturday Open Day Visits due to Heavy Rain

As of 11:00 today, an evacuation order remains in effect for the Mazda Head Office and Mazda Museum locations.As a result, we regret to inform you that today's special opening of the museum on Saturday, July 1, has been cancelled.We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and ask for your understanding and cooperation.

Important information - Change of Opening Hours for July 1, Saturday Open Day Visits due to Heavy Rain

 Heavy rain is expected from June 30 to July 1.
In consideration of your personal safety, we decided to change the opening hours as follows;
　[After the change]
　 July 1 (Saturday) Open 11:00 - 17:00
　Shuttle bus service will start at 10:30 a.m. and run every 15 minutes thereafter.
　 “RX-7" developer talk session time: 11:30 a.m.-/ 2:00 p.m.

[Attention] Notice Regarding Spam Emails 

 At around 2pm on June 7th, we confirmed that a large number of unspecified individuals were sent spam emails misusing our email address. We only send emails directly to individuals, and not to large unspecified groups of people.

Changes to Museum Tour Arrangements for Saturday Open Day visits  

Please note that we are making changes to bookings for Saturday Open Day visits.

Bookings for Saturday Open Day in July and thereafter will be accepted from the 1st day of the month prior to the month in which the Saturday Open Day is held.

We have resumed taking reservations.

Commencement of general bookings and bookings for Saturday Open Days

We will start accepting general reservations from 9:00 am on May 16, 2022 (Monday).

You are welcome to visit the museum from May 23 (Monday). Please come and see the newly refurbished Mazda Museum.

The museum will also be open on Saturday, June 11.
